Non payroll transactions

How to convert non-payroll transactions that were done with previous QB 2021 version (without payroll) into payroll transactions. We now have 2023 Desktop with payroll.

Hi there Oz2023,

 

it's vital that all your transactions be entered properly for your books to be properly balanced. QuickBooks Desktop Payroll is a great tool able to help you calculate the pay for your employees based on the hours they worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance.

 

For help with entering these prior payroll transactions, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view the entries you've made in the past in a secure setting to help you with entering them in the payroll system. You can reach them using the options provided in the QuickBooks Desktop software support policies.
