Hi there, @10Lana.

I'm happy to know that you've completely set up the RRSP Contribution item in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT). Since the item was already added in QuickBooks, you can use it when processing your employee's pay. When paying your employee, add the item from the Other Payroll Items section. Then, enter the amount.

On the other hand, you may also discuss with your accountant for other options in paying the contribution. They're experts in the accounting field and can advise you on the process and keep your payroll entries in place.

For more resources, while working with your payroll transactions in QuickBooks, you may review this article: Canadian Business Payroll.

If there's anything else you need help with  RRSP Contribution, let me know by adding a comment. I'm always here for you. Have a great weekend!
