If i have an employee with different hourly rates and i want to link the different payroll items to different expense accounts, can this be done?

QuickBooks Online provides the option to change your accounting preferences. Let me show you how this can be done. 

 

1. Head to the "Gear icon and select "Payroll settings"

2. Click on the pencil icon in the "Accounting section"

3. Select "Edit" in Wage expenses

4. Use the dropdown menu to make the necessary changes then click "Save"
