Payroll reporting by payroll period not pay date

Hello,

Is there a way to report on payroll by payroll cut off dates NOT by pay date?

I understand that the CRA is by pay day and I'm not looking to change my remitting. 

However, my monthly reports are not correct when the pay date is in the first few days of the following month, but the payroll period is entirely within the previous month.

Eg. a bi-weekly payroll period is Nov 17 - Nov 30 and pay day is Dec 3. 

I'm a new user to QBO payroll. Thank you!
