PDF missing components

Since I tried to switch my default email in Windows, the PDF component broke in Quickbooks.  I switch the default email back, tried the PDF repair tool from Intuit, reinstalling QuickBooks, used clean tool, still PDF missing component error!

I appreciate you for sharing all the troubleshooting steps you've done and for trying to resolve this issue beforehand.

 

Since you're still having the Missing Component Error, after performing all the possible steps to resolve the error by switching back to the default email, running the PDF repair tool from Intuit and reinstalling QuickBooks, I'd suggest you reach out to our Customer Care Team. They have the extra tools that can help you retrieve your company profile and open your company file.

 

Here's how you can reach us:

  1. Click Help at the top menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. In the Have a Question? window, click Contact us.
  3. Enter the details of your concern and click Continue.
  4. Choose how you want to reach them and enter the needed information.​
