Hi @samhoss,

Welcome to the Intuit Community and thanks for reaching out here! I'd be happy to guide you with this.

To add customized data like quantity, project code, etc. to barcode labels in QuickBooks Desktop, try following these steps:

Switch to Single-User Mode: Go to File > Switch to Single-user Mode.

Go to Lists: Select Item List.

Edit an Item: Double-click any item to open it for editing.

Add Custom Fields: Click on Custom Fields and then Define Fields.

Enter Custom Data: Add fields for quantity, project code, etc. You can name these fields and set their data types (text, number, etc.).

Save Changes: Click OK to save the custom fields.

Print Labels: Use the barcode scanner to scan items and print labels with the customized data.

This way, you can print labels with your customized data directly from QuickBooks Desktop.

If these steps provided don't allow you to add customized data to your print labels, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support team. One of our specialists will be able to further assist you by providing additional steps.

Our Customer Support Team is available from 6 AM - 6 PM PT (Monday - Friday). Please follow these steps:
