problem reconciling SAVINGS account

check the problem : on attached picture. 

When I eneter interest earned from my Savings account. Recononciliation window shows Difference 

Ending balance provided already incluses that amount : $240.64 

and that amount is set as Interest EARNED , so why it is not $0??
