QB Desktop 2021.

Just received my QB Desktop 2021 update.  I signed in to start the download and received a message saying they cannot find my product.

I love that you're looking to upgrade to the 2021 edition of QuickBooks Desktop. It's hot off the presses and ready for you to dive in, and I'd be happy to show you where to download your product.

 

When the sign in portal doesn't have the product you need, you can always check out the Download QuickBooks Desktop page to find how to download the 2021 edition for the version you have. Once it's downloaded, you'll be able to enter the license information you received via email to get started with the newest release.

 

I encourage you to also review the System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2021 to make sure your system is also ready for the new edition of QuickBooks Desktop.

I have downloaded QB 2021and now I need to transfer my data over from QB 2015 for 3 accounts I have set up. I use the desktop because I use QB for income and expenses only.

How do I do this?

    Open your file(s) on QBD 2015 and secure a backup copy (i.e QBB) for every company file. Copy and move the QBB file(s) to new folder. Open your new QBD 2021 and restore the file(s).
