QB Desktop Accountant - cursor will not drill into accounts

I am using QB Desktop 2024 Accountant Edition.

When in a report (such as trial balance), I am not able to use the cursor (mouse) to double click and drill down into an account details. I am only able to use the arrow keys to navigate to an account and then use the enter key to drill down.

Not being able to use the mouse is a very new problem.

Hi there GarryP,

It's important that all your transactions are correctly entered in a timely manner for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help you keep track of sales and expenses so you can see the profitability of your business. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with this cursor issue.

For assistance with not being able to double-click in reports to see more details, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your setup with you to see what is causing the double click to not work, as well as provide some assistance to get you back to managing your clients' books effectively through reports. You can reach them using the methods outlined in the QuickBooks Desktop software support policies.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.
