QBO Bank Feed

Hello,

I'm working with a client that recently switched to QBO from Desktop. PayPal is one of the bank accounts that I have setup for the client, but I initially setup the PayPal bank account without connecting the PayPal account to QBO. I instead uploaded a month of transactions manually. I now want to connect the bank feed to this PayPal account, but when I connected the bank feed it created a new PayPal account in the COA. 

 

I have attempted to merge the two accounts, but when I tried to merge them I received and error stating " You can't merge two accounts that are both setup for Online Banking or WebConnect", however the initial PayPal account wasn't connected to Online banking. 

 

How can I merge the two accounts, or is there a way to remove the original PayPal Bank account that I uploaded transactions into?

 

All the uploaded transactions have been categorized, so if I remove the original PayPal Bank account will it remove the transactions that have already been categorized from this account?
