Quickbooks 2013 and outlook 2016

Unfortunately Microsoft has done a major update which wiped out my office 2010. Not wanting 365 I updated to office 2016 but this has the result that my old version of Quickbooks 2013 no longer using outlook as the email program. I would upgrade Quick books, but the new versions do not suite my needs in the same way as 2013. Does anyone know how to get quickbooks to use outlook 2016.

Thanks for reaching out to us here. I'll be glad to guide you in the right direction so you can use Outlook in QuickBooks Desktop.

Before following the steps below, I recommend making sure your profile is set up in Microsoft Outlook.

Here's how to set up Outlook:

Select the Edit menu and then Preferences.
Select Send Forms. Then go to the My Preferences tab.
Select QuickBooks E-mail or Webmail, and then OK. This toggles your preference off.
Repeat the steps. Go back to the My Preferences tab and select Outlook. Then select OK.
Close QuickBooks and all other open programs.
Restart your computer.
