Quickbooks desktop receiving customer payments online

In QuickBooks Desktop, there isn't a built-in feature to add a "Pay Now" button to customer statements. However, here are a few workarounds you could consider:

Workaround 1: Include a Payment Link in the Email

Create the Statement:

1. Go to the Customers menu and select Create Statements.

2. Set your parameters and generate the statement as usual.

Edit the Email Template:

3. Go to Edit > Preferences > Send Forms > Company Preferences.

4. Select Statements and then click Edit Email.

Insert a Payment Link:

5. In the email template, include a link to your payment portal or instructions on how to make a payment. This won't create a "Pay Now" button on the statement itself, but it will guide your customers to a place where they can make a payment.

Workaround 2: Manual Consolidation

If the above option doesn't meet your needs, you could manually consolidate the invoices into a single invoice before sending the statement. This way, the "Pay Now" button on the single consolidated invoice can be used to pay all the outstanding amounts.

I recommend leaving feedback about your interest in setting up a "Pay Now" button for the statements so your customers can pay all invoices at once by going to Help then Send Feedback Online. This is a great way to share with us the features you're looking for in the program.
