Bought a new computer and wanted to install another desktop version. My old machine is running desktop pro 2013. If I purchase the new 2020 desktop version, will I be able to import my 2013 data into it?

Secondly, will quickbooks still register it since they want you to use their online versions which I find very expensive?

If you don't need to run any add-ons (e.g QB Payroll, QB Payment), you can use the trial version for good with a workaround.
