Re: Unreconciling Last Bank Statement

After unreconciling, random deposits and open checks are showing up from previous months and even years showing up. Had reconciled checks showing up from 2021.

spent over 6 hours on the phone with customer support, without results, and said all they could do is turn into engineering. It’s been 2 weeks and nothing resolved. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Thanks for reaching out to us here. Making sure you get the support you need is important, I would be happy to provide some information. 

 

In this case, you may have duplicate transactions. I encourage you to review the account history to ensure the items that have now showed up dating back from 2021, are duplicates. If they are duplicates, you'll need to exclude them. If they aren't duplicate entries, it's best to un reconcile the account back to 2021 and do the reconciliation process again to ensure your account is balanced.  Here is a helpful guide on how to fix issues when reconciling.
