receive payment on multiple credit cards

I have a customer that will split the invoice payment onto 2 credit cards. Is there a way to add another field to save, and apply, the second CC to the customers contact details?

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. Thanks for reaching out to us here. QuickBooks Online Payments is a great feature to have. It allows your customers to pay directly from their invoices. I would be happy to provide some information.

 

At this time, there isn't a way to add a second credit card to your customers file. However, you can receive a partial payment in your QuickBooks account for the invoice in question with one credit card, then select to pay the remaining balance of the invoice with a different credit card. Only one credit card can be saved. Here is how to record partial payments in your QuickBooks. I can see how being able to add a second credit card to your customers file would be beneficial for you. I recommend leaving feedback by heading to the Gear icon and selecting the Feedback option. These comments are viewed and considered by our developers as they create new features and updates for QuickBooks.
