Question

Reclassify transactions - filtering by employee name

Hello,

It used to be possible, when reclassifying transactions, to filter by employee name. It would be the same as entering "Customer/supplier" name.

Why is that option no longer available?

Many thanks in advance,

Svetlana

Hi Svetlana,

It's good to have accountant users like you reach out to the Community. I'd be glad to share more info on reclassifying transactions.

At this time, you can only filter by Customer or Supplier. I think filtering by employee name is a great idea and I encourage you to send the feedback over to our engineers. You can do this by clicking the Gear icon and looking for Feedback. New product ideas are greatly influenced by the feedback we get from users like you.

Feel free to ask questions. I'm here to help.

Hi James,

Thank you for your feedback. Will do.

Is there any way to know whether that feature will be back in the coming weeks? I was hoping to use the "filter by employee" massively this year again to reclassify all 2019 payroll transactions (our year end is Dec 31st).

If this won't be the case, it will take me much more time to do it.

Thank you,

Svetlana

Hi Svetlana. Once you've sent feedback through the Gear icon, our engineers will keep you posted on when the requested feature will be available. As of now, there isn't an estimated time-frame but if I hear of anything, I'll make sure to reach out to you right away.
