Reconciliation Error

It's great to see you in Community. Welcome!  Reconciling your accounts in QuickBooks Online, is essential in keeping your books accurate and up to date.  Getting an error message can delay your work.  I would be glad to help!

I recommend reviewing the inactive accounts, to see if the associated Parent accounts can be located.  Proceed by following these steps to make an account active again;

1. Go to Settings ⚙, then select Chart of accounts

2. Select the Gear icon ⚙ above the Action column

3. Choose Include inactive

4. Locate the account you want to use again, then select Make active.

If you receive the same error message, please don't hesitate to contact our Customer Care team at 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST.  They'll have the ability to review the issue in more depth, and escalate it for further investigation with our Development Team.  In addition, they'll set you up for an email notification when the issue has been resolved.
