QB desktop is not marking printed sales receipts as printed. The status remains "print later" even when shown they printed correctly. Other than going to each individual receipt and marking it printed, is there another solution.

Hi Bulldozer62,

 

The print later feature in QuickBooks Desktop is a great way to keep track of what you still need to print in one place. I can help go over how to print out what you have saved.

 

When you have print later checked it send the invoice to your print forms window. Due to this it will not mark the invoice as printed unless you either print the invoice again without it checked or go to your print forms and print them out from there. Print forms can be accessed by going to: File>Print Forms. From there you just need to select what you want to print, in this case it would be invoices. Once selected a box will pop up with all the invoices that have yet to be printed that you can select. Once they are checked you can select print and they will all print at that time and mark your invoices as printed.

 

This feature works for anything in QuickBooks Desktop that you need to print such as pay stubs, cheques and bill payment stubs.
