we use a company called service fusion for our invoicing It syncs with QB. sometimes the tax amount does not calculate the same with both companies. when I look at my a/r report I quite often have a .01 cent credit or debit. Any ideas on how I can stop this happening? and/or how to get rid of the .01

Hi there accounting126,

Making sure your invoices are entered correctly is an important part of your bookkeeping. QuickBooks Online has the capabilities to connect with multiple services through apps in order to make data entry into your books easier. I can provide some insight into this.

Since the connection between your app and QuickBooks is generated by a third party, you'd need to contact them in order to see if the import could be changed to match the invoices in Service Fusion. If you connected it via an application located within our Apps section, you can find the contact info for those developers by navigating to the Apps tab, then click My Apps. Click on the name of the app you have connected to import from Service Function, then there should be contact info located within the App Details section.

If you want to modify an invoice already entered in QuickBooks Online, you can locate it by navigating to the Sales tab, then InvoicesClick on the invoice you want to open, then Edit Invoice. You'll then be able to adjust the amounts you see on the invoice.
