Second company

I have added a second company to my QuickBooks. I currently have five users. I have started a second company added all my five existing users. None of them are able to see my new company on their QuickBooks. am I doing something wrong?

You need to share the second company file on the server and make sure QB Database Manager can find it.

Thanks for reaching out about company file access. QuickBooks Desktop is a great tool able to help you keep track of your company's sales and expenses so you can view the profit of your company. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with giving access to this new company to other users.

 

If after trying to put the company file on the server itself, and making sure the Database manager can locate the file, these users still don't have access to the second file, then I would recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Desktop support team. They'll be able to provide assistance in making sure all is set up properly so that the file can be accessed by all the necessary users. You can reach them with the options provided in the QuickBooks Desktop software support policies.
