Snap Receipts

Hi there, I am new to Quickbooks. I just snapped photos of a lot of receipts on the app on my phone. I then went online to "review" the receipts. I added all the category info etc but then I don't know what to do. I tried to add the expense but I get a "something went wrong. You need to select a different type of account for this transaction".

all I want to do is have somewhere to keep receipts and have them in categories. I have no idea what to do?

Hi there, 

 

QuickBooks is a great program for managing your receipts. I know how that error message can slow down your progress especially when you're trying to get ahead with your work. Rest assured, I'll be happy to share more info on that. 

 

First, I'd like to start off by doing some troubleshooting to determine if this isn't a browser related issue. When was the last time you cleared cache and cookies on your browser?
