The business mailing address has changed so am updating. Why is it not allowing the suite# to be included? Why is a second line not allowed?

The previous address did have a suite#, but once I made the edit it is no longer allowed for old or new.

Hi slhiltz,

 

Being able to add your full billing address can help when customers need to know where to send something or for any documents sent to the government. I can help with getting your Suite number added into your QuickBooks Online account.

 

When entering or changing your address you will first need to go to: Gear>Account Settings>Company>Address. On the far right will be a pencil icon to click that will allow you to edit the address. From there you can add the full address in the first line for example 1-104 Queen Street or 104 Queen Street Suite 1. From there you can click save to update any information you changed. This should update any template you have for invoices or bills but its always best to make sure. You can go to: Gear>Custom Form Styles>Select a template>Click Edit on the right side. Click on content at the top and then where the address is located on your template and make sure it's the new address showing,

 

Should you want suite to have its own field I recommend submitting feedback to our product development team to let them know you'd like to have that included. It's a simple process that you can do by following the steps in this article.

Thank you! I am sure that is where I tried to change it, but cannot remember now since I took some time off.
