Question

The mileage tracking option has disappeared from the app within the past week. I have tried uninstalling and resetting the app and it hasn't helped. How do I get it back?

I am now unable to track my mileage and this is essential for my business. Please don't ask me to reinstall or reset my app data as I've tried this already to no avail.

Welcome to Community!  It's important that you're able to use the automatic mileage tracker in the QuickBooks mobile app.  I'd be happy to assist!

 

Rather than uninstalling your app, I suggest selecting the menu ☰ icon, then Mileage, and turn on the Auto-tracking switch.  If this is already activated, please follow this link, to fix mileage tracking issues.  If the issue persists, please contact us, so we can look further into the situation from our end.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.

Hi Trish,

 

Thank you for the prompt reply. That's the problem.. when I click on the menu icon, the mileage button is no longer there.. It's gone. This had to have happened recently as it was working fine last week.

Ok I have no idea what happened but the mileage button has magically reappeared. All is good!
