Third Party Direct Deposit app with Quickbooks Desktop Pro

Hello,

Our company currently pays employees via cheques but I am wanting to switch to direct deposit. We currently have 2024 Quickbooks Desktop Pro with Payroll. I was wondering which third party apps other users have had success with for direct deposit for their employees.

I know Telpay is the one recommended but I have heard of others using Treasury Software? Or do others just export and pay through their banks?

Just want some feedback from those who have used the third party apps to see which option they have had success with.

Located in lower mainland, BC, Canada.

Thank You.

Hello ConAlum,

I appreciate that you're looking into third party options for setting up direct deposit to pay your staff on time.  I'm glad you've mentioned Telpay, as that's the service QuickBooks Desktop uses.  To ensure a positive outcome, I recommend considering Telpay or use QuickBooks Desktop Payroll to make the calculations, then pay your employees by e-transfer.  However, you can review other third party apps here, and reach out to their support team for additional information, when considering the best option.

I'll keep this thread open, so other Community members can provide their advice and suggestions as well.
