Transferring data from qbo desktop to qbo online

I've recently completed a transfer of data from QBO desktop to QBO online and received a confirmation email to say that the data transfer was successful however the data isn't appearing in the QBO online account

It's vital that all your transactions are correctly entered so that all your account balances are correct. QuickBooks Online is able to import transactions from other software like QuickBooks Desktop during the initial setup of your books so that you can have your previous information entered in your account. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with the import.

 

If you receive a notification the import from QuickBooks Desktop through Dataswitcher has been complete yet you see no data in your Quickbooks online, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team. They'll be able to view your account with you in a secure setting in order to provide you with some troubleshooting steps to get your data imported. You can reach out to them using one of these options:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
