Trying to connect RBC account but when I answer my security question the system keeps saying "that didn't work" and prompts me to try again.

I know the answer to the security question is correct but trying to link through quickbooks it doesn't get accepted.

Hi finance-clapfoot,

 

Welcome to Community!  Your banking is a vital part of your business and it's important that you're able to connect with QuickBooks Online.  I'll be happy to assist you so you're on the right track with your work.

 

Once you've linked your account, QuickBooks Online starts downloading the transactions automatically.  It's important that your sign in information is accurate with your login on the bank's website.  If you've made changes to your account, you'll need to update the information in QuickBooks.  Here's how:

 

1. Open the Banking or Transactions menu and then the Banking tab

2. Select the tile for the bank account and click the Edit ✎ icon

3. Choose Edit sign-in info

4. Update your info as needed and hit Save when done
