turn of sound in quickbooks when transaction is entered

Welcome to the QuickBooks Community. The program is designed to help you manage your accounting using the powerful features in the program. I'll be happy to show you how to manage the sound when recording transactions. 

Here's how:

1. Go to the Edit menu, and then choose Preferences.

2. From the Preferences window, click General.

3. In the My Preferences window, uncheck the box beside Beep when recording a transaction.

4. Hit OK once done.
