We are a CAD company that invoices all US customers in USD can we have those payments sent to our US bank account

We are a CAD company that invoices all US customers in USD  and we want all payments made in USD to go directly to our US bank account in the US


What currency do we set for the home currency?   I see we can use the Multi-currency feature to assign customers a default currency  However my main question is where can we direct our payment options to link to our US bank as a Canadian business 

Can we set up both can we have US payments go to our US Bank and Canadian payments go  to our CAD  account
How can we issue invoices with payment links  by  ACH or Credit card to ensure payments are made in US$ and are deposited into the US bank account located in IL
Do we need to purchase  QuickBooks US or can we use Quickbooks CAD. that we have

You need a 3rd party merchant service.

 Ok, thanks I understand it is the third-party processor that moves the money to the bank  NOT QuickBooks  So can you set up multiple merchant services in QuickBooks?  The issue we have is the need to deposit US and CAD funds into different banks   So If we have one processor for US and one for CAD   Can QuickBooks be set up to use one Service for US and another for CAD ?

The option to set up Merchant Services in other currencies is not available at this time.  Please feel free to submit a suggestion to our Development Team for feature improvements and future updates.  In the interim, you can search third party apps for the best fit for your business needs.

I'm in the exact same situation. I haven't found a good solution to accept credit card payments. I've used Wise which works fantastic, and basically no fees. But if the customer doesn't have wise it can be a pain. Wondering if you found a solution within Quickbooks?

If you are a service company, you can use a proposal management app to integrate with QBO to accept international payments by cards. Another option, use a 3rd party merchant service.
