We receive Script Error : Line 1042 Char 5 Error Unable to get property 'addEventListener" of undefined or null reference. This occurs every time we open QB desktop.

I had the same problem. After 3 very long telephone and remote access sessions with Support, they were able to fix the error messages. The problem seems to be related to the QB-Internet Explorer 11 interface connection.
