Hi there Shaunne,

It's important that you're able to enter all of your transactions correctly in your QuickBooks Desktop so that your books are well balanced. QuickBooks Desktop has the ability to import transactions and lists in order for you to be able to enter multiple transactions at once. I can provide some information about importing transactions into QuickBooks Desktop.

Any version of QuickBooks Desktop is able to import information such as lists or transactions. I recommend reading this article about Import and export lists and transactions in QuickBooks Desktop. There are sections about the various processes that you can use to import different types of data into your books, such as Excel, CSV and IIF files.

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out here.

@Rachel Fetterman

You can purchase any QB Desktop edition with a one time license.

Thank you for your response.  This is where my confusion comes in with all the reading of online QB articles, if I needed an actual converter.

Hi Shaunne.

Allow me to help clarify some of the confusion about the community articles so we can get you back to business.  When importing invoices into QuickBooks Desktop you don't need a third party converter to do so. All the steps in the article can be done using IIF, Excel and QuickBooks itself. All you would need is to follow the steps and you'll be good to go.

If you have any questions let us know and we'd be happy to help.
