When a Rule has been assigned, is it possible to change it, i.e rather than make a new rule?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online enable you to create rules, to simplify your daily bookkeeping tasks.  These can be edited without having to create new rules, that can extend your list unnecessarily.  I'd be glad to assist!

Here's how to edit a rule;

1. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Rules under the Lists menu

2. Locate the rule and hit Edit in the Action column

3. Make the necessary changes and hit Save when finished.

If you need to edit Price Rules, select All Lists from your Settings ⚙, then open Price Rules and follow step #2 and #3 as above.
