When I'm issuing a PO, I have to look up the contact name and cannot look up the company name. How can I change the default name?

You've come to the right place for assistance. I'll be glad to share more info and make sure you're on the right path. 

QuickBooks Online makes it easy to change the Company name and I'll show you how: 

1.     Select the Gear icon at the top, then Account and Settings).
2.     Select Company from the left menu.
3.     In the Company name section, select the Pencil icon.
4.     Make the necessary changes. Note: Check the box before Same as company name if the company's legal name is the same as the company name. Remove the check and type in the company's legal name if it is not.
5.     Select Save, then Done.
