When trying to enter credit card payment on app, what is "ZIP" field? QBO app only allows me to enter numbers in this field so i cant enter a alphanumeric postal code...

Hello consolidatedes1@,

 

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. When you see something referring to a ZIP, it's more often than not meaning the ZIP code, which would be the US equivalent of the postal code. Since you need a postal code, I'd like to make sure that you're able to sort out whatever is happening with your QuickBooks Online app.

 

The best place to start with figuring this out is knowing where you're seeing the field asking for the ZIP code. If you're using QuickBooks Online Canada, it should have postal code options rather than the ZIP code. What I recommend in this case is connecting with a member of our support team outside of this community forum so we can learn where you're seeing the ZIP option, and then we can examine your account to see if it's Canadian or if you somehow signed up for a US account by accident.
