Hi there squeekycleanwind,

I'm glad to hear that you're keeping on top of checks to your credit and I can see how important it is to you since you've taken some time to reach out here. I'd be happy to explain the possible reasons that Intuit might do a credit review in relation to QuickBooks Online so that you know where this is coming from.

There are many wonderful features and services available for managing your books in QuickBooks Online and when you sign up for certain ones, a credit review may also happen. The two services where this might happen are direct deposit for QuickBooks Online Payroll and QuickBooks Payments. Since these two services involve real-life money movement rather than a simple recording of figures in the program, the system could complete a check.

I've got a couple of documents you can review to familiarize yourself with this policy for the two features I've mentioned.

Both documents contain valuable information about using QuickBooks and its related services, so it's useful to take some time when available to review them in full. If you're also using other Intuit products besides QuickBooks, I recommend checking the terms for those to determine if there might be any reason they'd perform a credit check.

I hope that helps clear this up. You're welcome to comment here again if you have other questions or concerns and I'll get you on the right track for figuring this out.

Take care!
