Why am I not able to import the QBO data for a client who has stopped his subscription. I see the data but can not import to CaseWare.

Do they have to keep the subscription open until we finish the year end?

While you can access a QBO subscription while it's cancelled, it's important to note that it's only read-only access. This means you can view your data but you can not make entries or changes including the one you've described until the subscription is active.
