Why are my additional form fields not showing up on my downloaded pdf. QB Desktop download shows it works but online version they are missing

Hi there angmccaron,

 

Making sure that your additional fields appear on your invoice is important. QuickBooks Online is a great tool to help you manage your sales from anywhere with an internet connection. I can provide information on custom forms.

 

One reason you aren't seeing the custom fields when viewing the pdf of an invoice would be that the custom form style you're using is not the one that includes those fields. In order to use a custom form style while creating an invoice, you can click on the Customize button at the bottom of the page, and select the template you want to use.

 

If you would like to customize an invoice template to add those fields, you can do so by navigating to the Gear Icon, then Custom form styles. You can then edit your invoice to include some custom fields in order to best suit your business's needs.
