Question

Why are my transactions not appearing? They used to show up but now they are not. I'm trying to go back 7-10 months.

Hello there, @eazybz.

Let's make sure you're able to find your entries in QuickBooks Online.

There are several sections in QuickBooks where you can find transactions, namely, the QuickBooks Dashboard, through the finder, customer/vendor profile, and on reports. See this link to learn more about looking up for QBO entries: How to search for transactions in QuickBooks Online?

If you're referring to the transactions from your bank, you have the option to connect a bank account for online banking. This way, the system will retrieve the transactions from your bank, so you can categorize them. For transactions beyond 90 days, you can upload them manually.

Download the data from your bank then map the transactions in a CSV file. Once it is ready, start importing the file to your QuickBooks Online company. Follow these steps:

  1. Open your QBO account and tap the Banking menu.
  2. Click the Link Account drop-down.
  3. Tap the Upload from file option.
  4. Click on Drag and drop or select files.
  5. Choose a supported file from the list, then Open.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to map the fields.
  7. Select the transactions to import.
  8. Click Yes then Let’s go.
