Why can I not see the billable expenses option within account settings

Hey there leannepark,

 

Looking in your Account and Settings section of your account setup is a great place to start looking for the ability to turn on Billable Expenses. I know this is a useful tool for business owners and if you have a QuickBooks Online Plus account, you'll find it under the Expenses tab.

 

If you don't have QuickBooks Online Plus, that's the reason you're not seeing the option to turn on billable expenses. In these cases, there are two options: you can consider upgrading your account or reviewing the available apps in the Apps tab in the left menu of your account to see what's available. Third-party apps are a great way to enhance what your version of QuickBooks has to offer and may be the perfect fit for your situation.
