Why does my Payroll Tax Liability payment dated Nov 15, 2023 not show up in my November bank transactions?

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  QuickBooks Online Payroll enables you to record and pay your source deductions as scheduled.  I would be glad to provide more information, so you can match the associated transaction in your bank register!

With QuickBooks Online Payroll, you have the option to file and pay your payroll tax online.   However, if you are recording a payroll tax payment only, you will need to make your payment outside of QuickBooks, then enter the payment information as an expense.  By doing so, you'll be able to match the transaction and reconcile your account seamlessly.
