Why does this program only work half the time? between shoes coming untied and unexpected token < in JSON almost half of my actions in this program require work arounds.

I'd like for you to do some troubleshooting on your end. First, let's start by resetting the app data. Doing this fixes most issues the app is having and here's how you can do that: 

1.     Go to the Help menu on the navigation bar at the top.
2.     Click Reset App Data.
3.     Allow a moment for the process to complete, and then close the app.
4.     Be sure to right-click the app and Run as Administrator when re-opening.
