I'm trying to reconcile the month of Jan 2020 and we have made a payment to CRA for GST of $700. This payment shows up on the bank statement but it will  not show up as a transaction when I do my reconciliation. So how am I supposed to reconcile my quickbooks to the bank if quickbooks doesn't show this transaction?

Hi there,

Reconciling your accounts can be a lengthy process. Don't worry, I got your back. I'll be happy to give you a hand with making sure you have a $0 balance.

Based on what you've described, you'll have to complete your reconciliation and make sure the transactions are matching your bank statements. At the end of your reconciliation, the difference between the ending balance in QuickBooks and your bank statement should be $0.00. If there's still a difference, your accounts still aren't balanced. Here's how to fix it: Fix issues while you’re reconciling
