Work Tab - push notifications and printing

Is there any way to get push notifications by text for projects/tasks set up under the work tab?

Also is there a way to print off say the tasks due in a certain month, in say a report format?

Hi moseski,

We currently don't have the option to create or print a calendar type document in QuickBooks Online.  You'd need to research third party apps that would sync and have the full benefit of exactly what you're hoping for.  From the left menu, select Apps > then Find Apps and enter a key word > press Browse Category.  You'll select the app tile to see the pricing.  When you're ready to signup, click on Get App Now and Install.  Authorize QuickBooks to share your data with the selected app and configure any preferences needed for it to sync.  When completed, click on Save and Sync.

You may also provide feedback to the QuickBooks Development Team with any suggestions for improvements or new additions to improve your overall customer experience moving forward.  Go to the Gear icon in the top right corner of your dashboard and click on Feedback.

Please don't hesitate to reach back out for additional assistance.  We'd be glad to assist!

Hi moseski

It's wonderful to see you here in Community.  Welcome!  Having the ability to receive notifications for tasks and projects is a great way to stay informed while on the go.  QuickBooks Online understands how valuable this would be and they've made it possible in the Accountant version and QuickBooks Online Plus.  I'd be happy to help.

To allow notifications just follow these easy steps; Click on Work on the left navigation bar, at the top you'll see Notifications.  Select the Edit icon to the far right and check all boxes that apply > hit Save and then Done.  You're all set!

With regards to having a report that shows tasks due, I'd recommend the Transaction List by Customer report. This report will show all transactions, but you can modify it to only show charges.  Since charges are non-posting, transactions won't appear in most reports, registers or account histories.  I'd be happy to guide you to this report.

1. Select Reports from the left menu.

2. Type Transaction List by Customer in the search bar.

3. Click Customize at the top.

4. Open the Filter.

5. Under the Transaction Type drop-down arrow, choose Charge.

6. Run report.

To offer the Development Team any suggestions for product additions or updates, it can be done by submitting Feedback.  You can do this from the Gear icon in the top right corner > Feedback, .  Although you may not see an immediate update, any advice provided by our customers is taken into consideration to provide the best quality of Customer Care with QuickBooks Online.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us, we're always happy to help!

Thank you for your response.  I have adjusted my notification settings.

In regards to the report, that's not exactly what I am looking for.  What I am looking for is a calendar type printout that can give me what is due for the week or month with detail.  We are just starting to use work and we have some employees who are still getting the hang of it, so if we could print it out for them it would be useful.
