Hi All,

The dashboard is showing 33% Expense on the dashboard, while no data is entered in the newly subscribed/fresh instance. Please guide if its bug or any other issue? Ref snap shot is  also attached.

Regards,

Abdul Rehman.

Let me help you sort this out, @Abdul Rehman.

We haven't received any reports from other users having 33% expenses in the Dashboard on the initial setup. Thus said, let's perform some troubleshooting steps so we can get rid of it successfully.

To start with, let's begin by accessing your account in a new incognito or private window of your browser. This way, we can check if this unexpected behavior is related to your current browser or not. To do so:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

Once completed, you can log back in to your account and check if you still see the expenses on your dashboard. If you're not seeing those digits, you can clear your browser's cache to optimize it. Also, your browser can start from scratch and improve your QuickBooks Online browsing experience.

However, if you can still see the expenses on your dashboard, let's switch and use a new browser application. Then, log back into your account and check your dashboard from there.

Hi Abdul Rehman,

I have more steps we can try. Let's click on the graph to see if there are transactions recorded previously. Let me guide you how.

  1. On your Expenses graph, click on one section of the graph to open a report.
  2. A transaction report will open. From there, you can verify if these are valid transactions.

If there is no report posted, please give us a call so we can investigate further. Here's how you can reach us.

  1. Click (?) Help.
  2. Click Contact Us.
  3. Enter you question in the What can we help you with? field.
  4. Click Let's talk.
  5. Click Get a callback.

I've also added our page about getting started for QuickBooks Online for your additional resources.
