Hello there, MrsK.

I’ll help route you in the right direction to resolve the conversion issue.

The information we receive depends on what the third-party application sends over to QBO. To identify the source of the issue, I recommend contacting your app’s customer support.

They’ll review the mapping and settings of your file before importing it to QBO. Then, make sure the invoices will no longer show as journals.

Let me share this article that lists all the data that doesn't come over when you switch from QBDT to the online version. The article is from the US, but it also applies in your region: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online.

As a workaround, you’ll have to manually enter the invoices in QBO. I’ll help and guide you through the process.

Here’s how:

  1. In QBO, tap the New menu in the upper right to choose Invoice under Customers.
  2. Click the Customer drop-down to select your client’s name.
  3. Fill in the field boxes and make sure the information is the same as the original entry.
  4. Press Save and close/ Save and New.

Here’s an article that provides additional information about recording historical customer or supplier transactions. It outlines the complete steps on how to input the data in QBO: Enter historical information.

Feel free to post a comment if you have other concerns or questions. I’ll get back to answer them for you. Have a good one.
