Hi all,

I am getting error while attaching the word file with ext .docx while posting queries on community/support page. Please guide that is there any restriction to attach word file? As no issue is faced when I am attaching a picture (means PNG and JPG etc.)

Regards,

Abdul Rehman.

Hi MaryLurleenM,

The detail is already shared.

But making jpg/png images in all the scenarios is not possible.

My query is that when the issue will be rectified and user will be able to attach docx file? If you are from QuickBooks team then please coordinate with concerned department and share the update here to help users.

Regards,

Abdul Rehman.

There are different ways so you can share the content of that Word document, Abdul Rehman.

You'll want to convert it into a PDF file. The PDF is one of the supported format/extension that you can upload into QuickBooks Community.

You can also take a screenshot of it. You can upload it with either JPG, GIF, PNG format.

Let me know if you need more assistance from me.

I've tried to attach a doc file and it looks like it's not yet supported, Abdul.

You might want to attach the screenshot of the document similar to what you've done in your previous posts here in the Community.

I can also see that your previous question has already been answered by one of my colleagues. Visit us again if you need anything else.

Nice to see you again and thanks for sharing a screenshot,  Abdul Rehman.

The .doxc extension is currently not supported. I've tried this scenario and was able to get the same error.

For now, you can take a screenshot of your document then attach it as an image (png). You might also consider using the suggested extensions when inserting a file (jpg, gif, png)

Keep your post coming if you need anything else.
