Thanks for checking in to the QuickBooks Community and asking us about the products we offer.

 

Just so you know, the desktop version of QuickBooks is only available for 3 countries, namely, Canada, United States, and United Kingdom. All other countries only support the online version of QuickBooks. May I know which country are you using QuickBooks for?

 

Please know that the desktop editions are not completely offline, as it needs to be connected to the web to download program updates. You also need to connect it to the internet if you process payroll and use third-party applications.

Hi i needed a quickbooks offline version in India, what are the available options to view historic data once Quickbooks India is discontinued?

Thanks for checking us out here in the Community, @shruti_lodha1. Let me share some insights regarding the QBO discontinuation in India. 

 

Please know that the QuickBooks Online India will no longer be accessible after the discontinuation date. For a smoother transition, we suggest downloading your data before April 30th, 2023. You'll have a history of transactions if you do it this way. They will be used when you pay your taxes and file your forms. You can follow these steps in saving your data:

 

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Select Export Data.
  3. Open the Reports tab and set the date range.
  4. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  5. Click on Export to Excel

Where is your company located?

You can call Sales team in the US to buy the new license of QB Desktop 2024 Pro/Premier/Mac/Enterprise. Another option, you can get it through selected partners.
