Hello everyone.

I need to fill old data in QBO in foreign currency, but I have my own exchange rate (for example on 30/06/2023)

I want to edit currency exchange rate but I don't know how. In "Currencies" - "Edit currency exchange rate" I can put my own rate only for today.
What should I do?

We're glad to see you here, @Stringer Bell. It's my goal to ensure you'll be able to modify the currency rate of your transaction from an old period in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

Home currency adjustments change the home currency value of your foreign balances, recalculating them based on a new rate. To do that:

  1. Go to Sales and select All Sales.
  2. Utilize the Filter section for a convenient way of locating the transaction.
  3. Click Edit under the Action column.
  4. Enter the new custom rate in the box below the Customer's name.
  5. Hit Save.

If you want to adjust the rate of all your transactions per account, you may also refer to this article: Enter home currency adjustments for your foreign balances.

Furthermore, I'm sharing this link that can further assist you in using the Multi-currency feature in QBO: Frequently Asked Questions about Home Currency Adjustments.

Stay in touch whenever you need additional help modifying a currency's rate from the previous period. I'm always available to address all your concerns. Take care and have a good one!
