I am unable to activate my QB pro 2016 desktop after reinstalling on to a laptop as our computers were damaged in the flooding

We're sorry to hear about the recent incident in your place. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I can definitely help you make sure you're able to register or activate QuickBooks.

 

Before anything else, may I know which country version of QUickBooks do you have? Are you using the one for United States, United Kingdom or Canada? Any detail will help me further.

 

In order for you to activate the product, go to the Help menu then About QuickBooks Desktop. When you see the green logo, press CTRL + R + P on your keyboard.

 

You can also use this link for activation if you have the US version: Register QuickBooks Desktop using Intuit Account.

 

If that doesn't help, I do recommend reaching out to our Support Team. They can generate the activation code for you so you can use the product. To get a live representative, use the following steps in your account:

 

 

  1. On your QuickBooks company file, click the Help menu.
  2. Tap the QuickBooks Desktop Help option.
  3. Press Contact us on the pop-up box.
  4. Click on the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
  5. Hit Search, then scroll down to get your contact options.
