IN : how to show opening stock and closing stock

How can i show opening stock and closing stock in quickbooks

QB uses a perpetual inventory system, you do not have opening and closing stock entries if you are using inventory items

You can get starting inventory value from a balance sheet dated 1/1
and ending value on the balance sheet dated 12/31
