1) Can we keep track the expiry date of each product? Is there a field to monitor the Lot# & Batch #?

2) Is there a way to migrate datas from an old version of QB2006 to QB Plus?

3) What if there are adjustments to make? Where can we do it? I don't see any features of Journal Entry to GL?

1. You need to have an additional app to manage your expiry dates.

2. Do you need to migrate data from QB Desktop to QB Online?

You may have 2 ways:

a. Utilize a migration tool. i.e TPExporter for Desktop, TPImporter for Online

b. Purchase a 3rd party conversion service.

3. You can register Journal Entry manually or utilize an importer tool.

Hello there, @OPT101821.

I'd like to provide some information about Inventory Tracking in QuickBooks Online.

As Fiat Lux - ASIA suggestion, QuickBooks offers another option while tracking the expiry of your item is unavailable. You may need an additional application for it.

You'll want to go directly to our website to find one or follow the steps below.

  1. Log in to your QBO account. Then, go to the Apps menu.
  2. Search for an app that suits your business needs.
  3. Click the Get app now.

QuickBooks 2006 is an old version that is no longer supported. When migrating data from an old version of QB2006 to QuickBooks Online Plus, you can download and install an updated trialrestore your company file.

Afterward, use it for conversion. You must be logged in as the administrator in both your QuickBooks Desktop file and your QuickBooks Online account. Then, start the conversion process from your QuickBooks Desktop company file. Still, you can utilize a third-party application to get this done (as another option).

You can follow the steps outlined in these articles. It contains tutorials that will walk you through the steps visually: Move your QuickBooks Desktop file to QuickBooks Online.

You can also review the information to learn more about the data that doesn't convert when you migrate to the Online product: What to expect when you switch from QuickBooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online

When making adjustments, you can use the Journal Entry feature. You can seek further advice from your accountant.
